Trojans Silence The Bells!

The Milpitas Trojans (11-0,6-0) beat the Bellarmine Bells (4-7,2-5) 35-7 last Friday night @ Milpitas in the 1st round of the CCS playoffs. The Trojans again started quickly scoring on their first drive. A long pass play from Tyree Bracy to Tuni Fifita put the Trojans in business. TyRee then ran it in from 1 yd and a 7-0 lead. The Trojans again moved the ball on their 2nd posession. On 3rd down Bracy found Fifita over the middle from 21 yds out and a 14-0 lead in the 1st. The teams moved the ball back and forth in the 2nd qtr but no scoring. The half ended with a 14-0 lead for the Trojans. The Bells got the ball 1st in the 2nd half and went 3 and out. The Trojans marched rioght down again w/ Bracy scoring from 1 yd out and a 21-0 lead. After the Trojan D stopped the bells again, Fifita returned a punt 44 yds deep into Bellarmine territory. 2 carries later Tariq Bracy was in the endzone and a 28-0 lead after 3 qtrs. Tyree Bracy scored from a yd out for the Trojans final points of the night and a 35-0 lead.  The Bells scored their lone TD w/ 3 minutes left and the outcome already decided. Tariq led all rushers with 26-202 and a TD. Tyree was 2-7-52 and a TD. He also had 9-65 yds and 3 TD's. Fifita led all receivers with 2-52 and a TD. The Trojan D was superb in holding the Bells to 123 yds for the game. 60 of which came on their last drive. Isaiah Cotton led the way w/ 13 tackles. Faiven Papalii had 12. Christian Garcia had 11 and a sack and Gabe Erickson had 10. Jake Sua and Abraham Vea contributed sacks as well. Noah Rodriguez had an INT that set up the Trojans final score. It was another great team effort from the Trojans!
